[DrunkAndRetired.com Podcast] Episode 100 - Gravitas Achieved! Track Sticks, GPL, Open Source, and perltoot
If the Flash file above does not work, try the movie download instead.
At long last we achieve gravitas with episode 100. To celebrate, Coté returns to the back porch where the podcast just over two years ago, while Charles joins in finally having a drink during recording.
We talk about what open source in a SaaS world, single-entity vs. multi-entity open source production, and then the horrors of learning object orientations by way of the perltoot page.

First of all, congratulations on the 100th! (And I hate the cyber-clit too). Trackballs are wonderful as long as they have enough inertia so you can just toss the mouse pointer from one side of the screen to another (especially with a 30″ and a 17″ monitor side by side)
Also, please…I always listen to D&R on my iPod. Your videos are for some reason “incompatible” with the iPod (or that’s what iTunes says). So, could you please change the video feed and/or always provide an audio feed?

Never fear, my intentions are to put up the MP3 audio. I ran out of space on libsyn for uploading and so haven’t yet for this.
Also, I’ll publish the video as iPod compatible. I assumed iTunes would convert it for me, but I guess that was dumb think. I think you can force it to, but that’s bunk-beans. I’ll just publish the iTunes friendly one from now on.

Congrats guys: 100xfun+info+bs! Still love the show but every time I watch the video I kinda wished you’re two hot chicks. Hey, I just got a great idea: why don’t you just let your girlfriends/wives lipsync over the stuff you two prerecorded. That would be awsome!
And by the way Coté. I saw your video experiments payed off: you got your a part in Die hard 4! The warlock, Yuh!
