[DrunkAndRetired.com Podcast] Episode 40 - Ruby Rake, Cryptorchidism and Version Control

In this episode, Charles, Bill de Hóra, and I talk about build tools, version control (subversion), and the usual random plateful of fun.

Many thanks to the cordial and understanding Charles, Bill de Hóra for putting up with endless reschedulings.

Also, check out the bonus material: behind the scenes of the podcast and more on zombies!

    Awesome units abound!

When I heard Charles say, “Rancher Zombies”, I just about fell off my chair :-) Any and all zombie talk is bound to end up well.

By the way, I’ve taken the plunge and decended into audio-land.

Waiting in your comments@drunkandretired.com inbox is a voice mail from one Aaron ‘Superfan’ Ransley :-)

  3. Ron Says:

Hey guys. Loved the show and would love to see Charles’ friends ‘awesome units’ email published. That was the funniest email I have ever heard!

Cote needs to step up to the mic though. ;>)

  4. Cote' Says:

Ron: I’ll put the awesome units email up. Also, I’ve learned my lesson about the mic. I had it pushed up instead of in front of my mouth.

  5. Robert Simmons Says:

There was a brief mention that Ant doesn’t have a “for loop” task. There is such a task included in the antcontrib project at http://sourceforge.net/projects/ant-contrib. If you’re using Maven 1.x there is also a for loop in Jelly. I know it wasn’t the main point, but I just thought I’d mention it.
